Art Miami, as you may know, is a contemporary art show
that runs concurrently with Art Basel *
December 4-9, during what is known as Art
Week in South Florida. Together, these two events capture headlines worldwide
and draw elite individuals from around the globe to view contemporary art, and
in addition, to view luxury properties and access global real estate services.
As the only network wholly owned by a fine
art auction house, this event is a powerful venue to further underscore
Christie’s synergistic link of real estate to art. This is a claim no other
organization can make, and an important differentiation between Christie’s and
its competitors.
More than supporting an art fair, Christie’s
is sponsoring a global event. During Art
Miami, the city’s trendy Wynwood District is transformed into a thriving
international destination, featuring 190 galleries from 21 countries within
250,000 square feet of
curated indoor and outdoor exhibition space.
*…Art
Basel is generally considered the most important art show in the United States
