LIGHT UP THE FOURTH!

The SPIRIT OF ISLAMORADA July 4th FIREWORKS CELEBRATION happens this year at Founders Park (mm 87 bayside) from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks available for a donation. There will also be live music. All residents of Islamorada will be admitted free of charge. Non-Resident cost is $10 per car. All visitors staying at participating hotels can obtain a wristband from their hotel, which will give them free admission. Fireworks & event are presented by Julie & Jon Landau and Tap Johnson; and also sponsored by the Upper Keys Rotary Club. Donations are appreciated and go to local student scholarships as well as to local schools for athletics programs.

THE AMERICAN HEROES PARADE AND PICNIC
The parade with Grand Marshall Dr. James “Doc” Boilini kicks off at ANTHONY’S in Key Largo, mile marker 98 in the median and finishes at Waldorf Plaza, mile marker 100. From 5 to 8 pm, there will be a family & kid friendly picnic at the Murray Nelson Center, mil e marker 102, bayside with inexpensive food & beverages, games & a water slide.

FIREWORKS ON BLACKWATER SOUND!
