Elite Dance of the Keys 1st annual Island Stars Disco Dance-Off & Costume Party Saturday, August 24^th, 6 pm to midnight, Elks Lodge, mm 92.6 bayside. 8 local community members boogy for charity & compete for coveted 1st place Disco Ball Trophy. Teams: Wendy Gentes & Jim Mooney, Kara Lundgren & Bobby Dube, Mandi Smith & David DeBrule, Lee Christine Young & Jonathon Raiche. Enjoy a great dinner & watch them compete. Prizes awarded to attendees for BEST DISCO COSTUMES. Tickets: $60 pperson, $100 pcouple + limited number VIP tables $1500 ea. Proceeds benefit Elite Dance of the Keys, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), providing scholarships to aspiring dancers under 18. Grab your oars and anything that floats and come on down and enjoy this family-fun Key Largo festival, Anything that Floats Race on Blackwater Sound, mile marker 104, bayside in Key Largo, Florida Keys.

That's right. It's anything that floats. Homemade vessels of materials that you can find around your house: cardboard, wood, PVC, duct tape, milk jugs, 5-gallon buckets, saran wrap, old t-shirts, outdoor furniture, old bikes and pool noodles. Just no motors, inflatable rafts, foam or pool toys are allowed.
